The basics
What is Quantyx?
Quantyx is software for building and testing your own trading strategies, with an AI agent to help. It runs on a private server we set up for you, called your Box. You open it in your web browser like any website.
What is a Box?
A private server that belongs to your account only. It holds your strategies, your price data, your AI agent and its memory, and your encrypted keys. We keep it updated and backed up.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You can describe an idea in plain words and the agent writes the strategy for you. If you do code, there is a full code editor too.
Will Quantyx make me money?
Quantyx is a tool, not a money-maker. It helps you find out whether your own ideas hold up on past prices and in practice with pretend money. It does not give advice or trading signals, and no plan promises returns. Trading can lose money, and past results do not predict future results.
Trading and safety
Does the AI trade with my money on its own?
No. The agent can write strategies, test them and run them with pretend money (paper trading). Only you can switch a strategy to real-money trading, from your dashboard, after a checklist of tests you set yourself.
Where are my exchange and AI keys kept?
Encrypted on your own Box. They are never sent to us, never written to logs and never shown to the agent. We recommend exchange keys that can trade but cannot withdraw.
Which markets can I use?
Crypto exchanges, US stocks (Alpaca), forex (OANDA) and prediction markets (Kalshi and Polymarket). Which prediction-market exchanges you can trade on depends on where you live; testing and paper trading are open to everyone.
Can I stop everything quickly?
Yes. Each running strategy has a kill switch, and Guardian lets you set account-wide limits on daily loss, drawdown and exposure that stop or hold trading automatically. These limits can only reduce risk.
AI models
Which AI models can I use?
You pick one at checkout and can switch any time. The current list is on the pricing page.
How do I pay for the AI?
With your own AI account. Inside your Box you either paste an API key from the AI provider, or sign in with a ChatGPT (OpenAI Codex), xAI or Nous subscription you already have. Quantyx does not resell AI usage.
Setup and billing
How long does setup take?
Usually under 10 minutes after payment. We email you a link when your Box is ready.
Can I pay quarterly or yearly?
Every new account starts monthly. After your first paid month you can switch to quarterly or annual, which cost less per month.
How do I cancel?
From My account, at any time. Your plan keeps working until the end of the term you paid for, and does not renew.
Can I get a refund?
Subscriptions are non-refundable, and you confirm that at checkout. The full policy is in the Terms of Service.
